Princess Protection Program (2009)
Carter Mason (Gomez) is a high school student who works at a bait shop, and her crush ~totally~ doesn't even know she exists (this is a DCOM, people). Enter Princess Rosalinda (Demi Lovato): the latest member of the Princess Protection Program. Think Witness Protection, but for princesses (again, it's a DCOM). Carter's father heads the program, and takes Princess Rosalinda in when her kingdom is threatened. The two girls have to learn how to live together and, spoiler alert, they might just learn a little something from each other along the way.
Ramona and Beezus (2010)
In a relatable story based on the classic Beverly Cleary books about a big and little sister who butt heads, Gomez plays Beezus, big sister to plucky Ramona (Joey King). Together, they work to save their family's house and learn about the importance of sisterhood along the way.
Monte Carlo (2011)
