2 suspects arrested in connection to the death of a toddler at Quebec City daycare

Quebec City police have arrested two people in connection with the death of a toddler in a family daycare centre in the Beauport neighbourhood of Quebec City.

On March 21, police were called to the scene of a residence and found a 14-month-old toddler unconscious.

Police and paramedics performed CPR on the child, who was taken to hospital and died a few hours later.

A 30-year-old man and 25-year-old woman were arrested March 25. The suspects are in custody and expected to appear in court today.
