20 Hollyoaks spoilers for Christmas and New Year episodes

It's a bumper Hollyoaks spoiler round-up this week, as we've got the lowdown on all of the biggest storylines airing over Christmas and New Year.
We've gathered together two weeks' worth of spoilers in this handy festive guide as James is caught out over his behaviour towards Lucas, Mercedes' baby secret is revealed, and Lacey returns to the village.
Viewers can look forward to seeing these stories play out on E4 over the next fortnight, but you can also watch early as all of the Christmas episodes are available to watch on All 4 from Friday, December 22.
1. Tony and Darren make a plea to Norma
Tony fears they won't raise enough money to help Darren, so together they go and plead with Norma for extra time.
Things don't go to plan and some harsh home truths are thrown around.
2. Dilly struggles with her jealousy
Dilly and Rafe manage to convince Sienna that Sebastian mistook the kiss he saw between the supposed siblings.
After seeing Sienna and Rafe getting closer, Dilly's jealousy begins to show as she confronts her husband.
With her emotions getting to her, Dilly seems to be out for Sienna more than ever. But Rafe steps in before things take a turn for the worse and assures her that he has no true feelings for Sienna.
3. James is caught out
Ste wants to get to the bottom of what Lucas meant when he drunkenly mentioned James, and tricks his husband into confessing everything.
James begs for his husband's forgiveness, but Ste calls him an abuser and tells him that he plans on going to the police.
Wanting to make sure Leah's okay, Ste rushes to The Dog where James follows him and Leela questions her brother about what's going on. Ste shares how James hit Lucas, and a scuffle breaks out when Leela launches herself at James.
Ste tells James the trust between them both is gone and their future is up to Lucas. When he goes to check on his son, Ste is left panicking when he's not there and the bedroom window is open.
4. Mercedes shares her secret
Warren discovers an unresponsive Nana as he passes by the McQueen house.
At the hospital, tensions rise between the McQueen family, prompting Sally to suggest that Mercedes gives them all some space.
Outside the hospital, Felix confronts Mercedes. At Nana's bedside, Mercedes explains she's pregnant, all while Warren listens in, unseen, at the door.
5. Ste fears for Lucas
Lucas has been missing all night and his family are frantically trying to find him.
Knowing it was his fault that Lucas ran away, James sets out to bring him home.
However, Ste tells him he doesn't want James anywhere near his son.
6. Ella and Charlie kiss
Ella gives Charlie a Christmas present.
In return, Ella confesses her feelings, and the pair share a kiss.
7. Darren and Tony join forces
With some supposed spam messages, along with flashbacks of the night before, Darren and Tony realise they put themselves forward for Dee Valley's Talent Competition.
Knowing there's a £1,000 award for the winner, Darren begs his friend to take part with him.
After hearing the news, Dave wants to join in and Tony offers him to take his spot. Darren confesses that Nancy is coming home in a few weeks and he wanted to win to pay back the village.
Tony later encourages Darren to edit his pictures so he doesn't have to worry about being out of shape when he sends one to Nancy.
8. James tries to make amends
James tells Ste he's signed up for anger management classes and that he's going to start putting the family first.
But is it too little, too late?
9. Warren supports Mercedes
Warren catches up with Mercedes in the hospital.
Warren reassures Mercedes he'll be there every step of the way during her pregnancy, knowing she's scared from past experiences of being pregnant.
Warren later books Mercedes a scan, and she's relieved when he arrives to support her. Warren helps calm Mercedes' nerves but things get worrying during the scan.
Goldie later sees Mercedes not looking so good and wonders if they should be concerned about her.
10. Leah is left humiliated
Dillon turns up to the party at the Youth Centre with Andre, leaving Vicky taken aback.
Unable to continue watching Leah flirt with him, Dillon admits to her that he doesn't fancy her in front of everyone at the party.
Leah helps Vicky clean up the Youth Centre the following day, but Vicky is more concerned about her friend using her brother as a rebound.
As the two girls argue, Andre walks in hearing how Vicky has doubts about trusting him.
11. Carter makes excuses to Maxine
John Paul discovers that Carter and Freya have moved closer to the school and tells him to stop living in denial.
As the village sees in the new year, Carter and John Paul share eye contact through Maxine's window.
Maxine and Scott try to get Carter to join in with their New Year's Day tradition of roasting each other over their previous relationships.
Feeling uncomfortable, Carter makes an excuse that he needs to go over budgets with Sally.
Later, John Paul receives a threat.
12. Darren opens up to Zain
Zain tries to help Darren at the gym, but things turn competitive between the two men.
Darren eventually explains to Zain why he wants to get in shape and Zain offers to help him starting from the very next day.
Later, Zain and Darren begin their fitness training and Darren admits to Zain the real reason he wants to get fit is to hide his real insecurity.
13. Carter and John Paul are caught on camera
John Paul attends one of Carter's sessions, and unable to continue to allow him to practise conversion therapy, calls him out.
Carter opens up to John Paul on how although he can be his true self around him, he's worried about what it'll do to his daughter if she finds out.
Carter later admits to a hurt John Paul that he can see the damage he's doing to him with his continuous lying, and agrees to stop practising conversion therapy.
Outside the school, the two men share a kiss, which is caught on camera without them realising.
14. Prince receives a sinister threat
Prince is left fearful when he's threatened by his cellmate.
Hunter visits Prince and hears about the hard time he's having.
Worried, Hunter pleads with his brother not to give up, promising to get him out.
Prince's cellmate later backs him into a corner and asks him to be his new lookout.
15. Dilly arouses suspicion
Rafe is having doubts about spending his remaining time on Dilly's scheme.
When Dilly discovers her real husband gifted Sienna a sentimental bracelet, she's consumed with jealousy.
Sienna finds Dilly with the bracelet broken and confronts her. Sienna tells Rafe that she feels like she has to fight for his attention with Dilly and that she thinks she may have smashed the bracelet on purpose out of envy.
16. Hunter makes a confession
Hunter wants to throw a party at the Love Boat to raise money for Prince's defence funds, but Lizzie has concerns about the negative impact it'll cause on business if he's found guilty.
Prince's cellmate is pushing for an answer on if he'll be his lookout, while at home Goldie fears for her son and Sally is putting on a surprise birthday party for him.
When Prince takes too long to give his answer, his cellmate retaliates.
Frustrated that his friends won't help with raising money for Prince, Hunter tells them there's more they don't know. He admits to stealing Rayne's phone and now believes Peri has it.
17. Carter receives an ultimatum
John Paul supports Carter as he accepts who he is and tries to encourage him to be honest with Maxine.
Carter later receives a concerning message.
When John Paul arrives home early to his surprise party, his mood quickly drops when he ends up being left alone to celebrate. Carter is left with a dark ultimatum.
John Paul is left confused when Carter pushes him away afterwards. Seeing Carter struggling, John Paul tells him he understands that it's difficult and that he's prepared to wait.
18. Lacey is back
Peri and Romeo arrive home, but their holiday high is quickly brought down to earth thanks to a message from Hunter.
Lacey returns to the village, only for Nadira to slam the door in her face.
Lacey explains she has returned to be Prince's defence representative and tells Lizzie and Nadira how a pair of sunglasses with a camera in, which Rayne had on the night of her murder, was never logged in the police evidence reports.
19. Sienna plans a romantic surprise
Dilly continues to get in the way of Sienna and Rafe spending time together.

20. Andre makes an impression
Andre is starting Hollyoaks sixth form, and Dillon apologises to Leah for hurting her feelings.
Dillon tries to support Lucas but feeling pushed out by his friend's interest in Andre, he snaps at him. Dillon and Vicky encourage Leah to go and ask Andre out.
Hollyoaks streams first online via Channel 4 each weekday at 7.30pm. Episodes then air on E4 the following day, before getting their YouTube premiere a week after that.
