More from Deadline

Apples Never Fall is based on the novel of the same name by Liane Moriarty, who also wrote Big Little Lies and Nine Perfect Strangers, which became hit series for HBO and Hulu respectively. We sat down with Brie to chat about her character on the show, and about Together, the upcoming film she’s making with her husband Dave Franco, who is set to direct.

During this episode, we dig into Brie’s childhood love of acting, including a somewhat questionable ‘flasher’ skit she created as a child, featuring an ‘edible weiner’, along with her lip-sync expertise, and a special performance of songs by Alanis Morissette and The Cardigans.

We also discuss Brie’s adoration for Barbra Streisand, which of Carrie’s boyfriends in Sex and the City was the worst and her dreams of living in Australia.
