1.Mr. Robot

"I love how the series not only explored the corrupt system but it also depicted how marginalized groups like POC and LGBTQ+ groups were affected."
"It's a show about 16th-century pirates with a 21st-century twist. The representation is so natural in this comedy. I can't recommend this show enough. I'll forever be heartbroken we won't get a third season."
3.Interview With the Vampire
"It's the BEST SHOW ON TV RIGHT NOW. You are sleeping on this, I swear. Do you want complex, dark, intense gothic romance? This is a complex, dark, intense gothic romance. Do you want horny? This is fucking horny as shit. It’s an absolutely phenomenal take on the books, and while they’ve changed things and updated ideas, it works so well. It’s a natural successor to Hannibal, and if you miss that, you need to watch this. It’s also one where I can say, 'If you’re not in love by the end of the pilot, you’ve seen enough,' so seriously, just give it that hour."
"Waverly and Nicole are one of my favorite lesbian couples, and their relationship shines throughout the show. So cute, such good feels."

5.Heartstopper
"Watching Heartstopper was the first time I saw myself portrayed in a show. I’m trans, bi, and asexual, so it was wonderful to see it correctly shown. All of the characters have identities that aren’t shown often, and they do a wonderful job of sharing the experience. It also touches on mental health issues and de-stigmatizing asking for help, which I really appreciated seeing."

6.Kieta Hatsukoi aka My Love Mix Up
"I have a lot of favorites, but my comfort LGBTQ+ show is a Japanese show called Kieta Hatsukoi, which translates to My Love Mix Up! The main character (boy) borrows his (girl) crush's eraser and sees it has his (boy) classmate's name on it. He drops the eraser and the classmate picks it up and sees. To save his crush from being embarrassed the main character says the eraser is his and that he has a crush on the classmate. Instead of making fun of him for liking a boy, or being grossed out, the classmate decides to take his confession seriously. It's a really funny and sweet show, and I wish my high school experience questioning my sexuality was that wholesome."
7.Sense8
"Created by, directed by, and written by trans women and starring a trans woman. It features multiple queer couples and is one of the best queer positive shows I've seen, as well as my favorite show of all time."

8.Big Boys
"It's Jack Rooke's partially autobiographical sitcom about his experience at university and his coming out journey. It also features one of the loveliest platonic friendships between a gay man and his straight roommate, who are so supportive of each other despite being worlds apart in terms of personality. It's just been renewed for a third season, which is fantastic. I'd really recommend it to anyone who hasn't had the pleasure yet."
9.Rupaul's Drag Race
"It’s fun to watch queer artists being talented and confident."

"It follows a group of friends who live in an apartment in London during the AIDS crisis and how it affects them and the people around them. Funny, memorable, but fucking heartbreaking at the same time. Also, don't do what I did and watch it with your ex's mum in the room."

13.Legends of Tomorrow
"By Season 7, our main cast was made up of a bisexual woman and her lesbian wife, a gay man who invented time travel to save his boyfriend, a fairly flamboyant pansexual — arguably not cis — alien with a girlfriend, the only asexual on network television, and had just said goodbye to a bisexual man who’d had meaningful relationships with men and women — who just left, didn’t die, just left. The rest of the characters were ostensibly straight, but all the actors said they were comfortable with the idea of their characters being LGBTQ+ as well and supported and encouraged headcanons. The show started with one bisexual woman and a bunch of straight people.
On top of that, it was just so much FUN, and big-hearted. This was a goofy family who had the best time and got up to the silliest stuff. It’s so joyful and a great antidote to serious, heterosexual superhero stuff."
