SINGAPORE — Ice Magic, Asia’s touring pop-up winter playground, is rolling out the white carpet that is set to enchant furry friends and their owners at 4 Paws @ Ice Magic.

In response to popular demand, the anticipated winter wonderland will open its doors to four-legged companions on two consecutive weekends in January: 13-14 January and 20-21 January.

Nestled beside Marina Bay Sands, the event will occur at the Bayfront Event Space, 12A Bayfront Ave, Singapore 018970.

The organisers said, in a media release on Thursday (4 January), that in the first-ever experience of its kind in Singapore, dog owners are invited to bring their canine pals, especially winter-loving breeds such as huskies, Samoyeds, golden retrievers, and more.

Experience winter joy as visitors and their furry friends can glide down the 5-lane Mini Ice Slide, savour moments on Singapore’s first Merry-Go-Round on Ice, and skate hand-in-paw on the 300sqm Ice Rink

The event will showcase a "picturesque" setting against the backdrop of Wooden Cottages drape real snow, offering an experience with glacial art, including illuminated icicles and igloo sculptures.

Highlighting the array of attractions, visitors and their dogs can glide down the 5-lane Mini Ice Slide, enjoy a moment on Singapore’s inaugural Merry-Go-Round on Ice, or skate hand-in-paw on the 300sqm Ice Rink.

However, as temperatures within the snow-covered area may dip below -15 degrees Celsius, the organisers advise dog owners to ensure their pets are adequately dressed for the cold.

To maintain hygiene and comfort for all attendees, dogs must wear diapers (for females) or belly bands (for males) and be on a leash under adult supervision throughout the event.

While participating in the event exposes dogs to a cold environment, owners should ensure their pets are free from contagious diseases or parasites, acknowledging that participation is at their own risk.

The organisers encourage visitors to pre-book their preferred sessions in advance to secure their spots and prevent any potential disappointment.

Given the sub-zero temperatures within the snow-covered premises expected to drop below -15 degrees Celsius, organisers emphasise the necessity for dog owners to properly attire their pets for the cold.
