710 fighters of Libya's official government killed since beginning of battle for Tripoli

TRIPOLI (Reuters) - Seven hundred and 10 fighters of the internationally recognized Libyan government in Tripoli have been killed since the beginning of the battle for the capital, the government said in a statement.

The offensive launched by eastern Libyan commander Khalifa Haftar to take control of Tripoli has entered its fifth week, killing almost 400 people and displacing 50,000.
