There’s a bit of shade in the forecast this Christmas — at least for millennials!

A Palms Springs, California middle school teacher is going viral on TikTok after presenting his students with a fun holiday assignment and getting hilarious responses back in return.

Mr. Frakes, who goes by 7thgradechronicles on the social media platform, instructed his class to give suggestions on what to get a certain age group as gifts this holiday season, and the internet can not get enough of the clip.

“I asked my students: What do you buy someone in their 30s for the holidays?” the educator wrote on a selfie video while standing in a classroom.

The upload then switched to a montage of answers on green post-it notes, including “signs that say, ‘Bless this home,’” “a bottle of wine and hip implants,” and “old people candles that smell like ‘home’ or ‘back then.’”

As the clip continued, the preteens also suggested “the wrinkle creams,” a “heated blanket cuz their muscles be hurtin,” and “a coffee mug that says, ‘Don’t talk to me until I’ve had my coffee’ because they’re all coffee obsessed millennials.’”

Many stated in the comment section that they would love to receive the seemingly well-thought-out gifts.

“Its me. I’m 30s. 😂🫣😬,” Mr. Frakes captioned the video, which has garnered 2.3 million views and counting.

The teacher has grown a pretty dedicated online following by sharing content from his classroom adventures — nearly 200,000 followers to be exact.

In an exclusive statement to PEOPLE, Frakes said, “I have been teaching 7th grade for 11 years now, so I am honestly not that phased by the students' responses. They continuously make me laugh (and humble me) daily, which is part of the reason why I continue to love my job. Middle schoolers definitely make sure that each day is a new journey. I am beyond happy that so many people were able to watch the video and it put a smile on their face!”
