The announcement comes after Kenneth Choi weighed in on his character Howard Han's nickname 'Chimney', suggesting there is a backstory behind the name.
"I have my own backstory of why he is called Chimney, and I believe it's the same backstory that was created by the original creators Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Tim Minear," he revealed earlier this month.
"They've never told me for sure but there was an iteration of this character before I came on board, and originally Chimney was conceived as a Latino man and there is a specific reason for why he was called Chimney."

He continued by teasing: "Without divulging what it is, some of my behaviours and actions as Chimney could tell somebody who's watching very closely, 'Oh, this is why he was called Chimney'."
Meanwhile, Jennifer Love Hewitt, who plays Maddie Buckley, recently shared pictures showing tattoos of three butterflies on her left arm. The new tattoos represent her three children.
The sixth season, which began airing in the US last September, also stars Angela Bassett, Peter Krause, Oliver Stark, Aisha Hinds, Ryan Guzman, Corinne Massiah, and Gavin McHugh.
9-1-1 and 9-1-1: Lone Star both air on FOX and Hulu in the US and Sky Witness in the UK.
