Abbott Elementary shares first look at season 3
Abbot Elementary has released a first look at season three - and there's a "new Ava" in town.
Premiering on February 7, the mockumentary series (which is available on Disney+ in the UK) welcomes back the teachers of Willard R. Abbott Elementary School for another year and principal Ava Coleman has new ideas about running the school after spending the summer at Harvard.
"I went to Harvard this summer," Ava says in one clip, while walking around the school wearing a rhinestone encrusted Harvard sweatshirt, before adding: "I've learned what it truly takes to do the job of a principle."
However, Ava's new ideas about being a principal involve a series of strict rules which includes keeping tabs on her staff via cameras to make sure they're working at all times - something which does not go down well.

"We cannot stand any more of this 'new Ava'," says Barbara in another clip, before she and Melissa send Gregory on a hopeless mission to try and seduce their boss.
Speaking of Gregory, there's still tension between him and Janine (played by series creator Quinta Brunson) after the pair confessed feelings for each other at the end of season two.
"Gregory and I are good," a flustered Janine says to the camera in another clip, while he awkwardly adds: "Yeah, no, we're fine."
"Interesting," quips the school's janitor Mr Johnson after hearing the pair's comments about their relationship.

Alongside Brunson - who recently won an Emmy Award for her performance as Janine - the show also stars Tyler James Williams as Gregory Eddie and Janelle James as Ava.
The series also features Lisa Ann Walter as Melissa Schemmenti, Chris Perfetti as Jacob Hill, William Stanford Davis as Mr Johnson and Sheryl Lee Ralph as Barbara Howard.
Joining the cast for season three are Lucifer's Kimia Behpoornia, Scream VI's Josh Segarra and Never Have I Ever's Benjamin Norris with the trio set to play good-natured Philadelphia school district representatives.
Abbott Elementary airs on ABC in the US, and is available on Disney+ in the UK.
