Adam Driver returns to our screens in new biopic Ferrari and we can exclusively reveal its UK release date.

Sky has confirmed that Ferrari will be released in UK cinemas on December 26 and will arrive on Sky Cinema in 2024. The movie is directed by Michael Mann and written by Troy Kennedy Martin.

Based on Brock Yates' biography Enzo Ferrari: The Man and the Machine, Driver takes on the lead role of Enzo Ferrari as the ex-racecar driver experiences a crisis during the summer of 1957 as his company faces bankruptcy.

His marriage to Laura Ferrari (Penélope Cruz) is also struggling with the loss of their son, but it doesn't stop Enzo from risking it all by rolling the dice on one race: the iconic 1,000 miles race across Italy, the Mille Miglia.

Ferrari also stars Shailene Woodley, Patrick Dempsey, Gabriel Leone, Sarah Gadon, Jack O'Connell and Giuseppe Bonifati.

Last year, Dempsey called his role in Ferrari a "dream job" when he debuted his white hair transformation for the movie, saying: "I'm having a great time. I'm getting to drive a lot of fast cars. I play a race car driver called Piero Taruffi who wins the 1957 Mille Miglia."

Sky has also announced that May December will be released in UK cinemas on November 17 and will arrive on Sky Cinema on December 1.

The new movie from Todd Haynes follows Gracie and Joe Atherton-Yoo (Julianne Moore and Charles Melton) whose 23-year age gap created a notorious tabloid story when they first got together two decades ago.

Their marriage comes under new strain when Hollywood actress Elizabeth Berry (Natalie Portman) comes to spend time with them to understand Gracie, who she is playing in a new movie about the scandal.

May December is released in UK cinemas on November 17 and on Sky Cinema on December 1, while Ferrari is released in UK cinemas on December 26 and will be released on Sky Cinema in 2024.
