AEW Revolution 2023 – match card, predictions, date, start time and how to watch
All Elite Wrestling's first pay-per-view of 2023 is here and it's going to be a big one. AEW presents its third annual Revolution event on Sunday, March 5, live from San Francisco, California.
The stacked card will be headlined by a 60-minute Iron Man match between AEW Champion MJF and Bryan Danielson – yes, they will be wrestling for at least an hour!
The show will also see the AEW Women's Championship on the line, as Jamie Hayter defends against two ex-WWE Superstars, Ruby Soho and Saraya, the former Paige.
Hangman Adam Page and Jon Moxley's feud will also come to a head in a Texas Deathmatch, which promises to be a very violent affair. And Ricky Starks and Chris Jericho will be looking to put an end to their rivalry, as they face off with the JAS banned from ringside.
AEW Revolution takes place on Sunday, March 5, from the Chase Center in San Fransisco, California. It will start at 8pm ET/5pm PT (1am on Monday in the UK).
AEW Revolution card: What's the full match card and predictions for AEW Revolution?
MJF (c) vs. Bryan Danielson - 60-minute Iron Man match for the AEW World Championship
MJF's microphone skills are undeniable, but the AEW Champion is desperate to prove he's just as good in the ring.
And what better way to do it than to take on the man who's probably the best technical wrestler in the world, Bryan Danielson.
The match will be MJF's first PPV title defence since he won the AEW Championship from Jon Moxley at Full Gear. With MJF's title run still in its early stages, expect him to find a way to pull off a win here, in what promises to be a very interesting match.
Prediction: MJF
The Gunns (c) vs. The Acclaimed vs. Jay Lethal and Jeff Jarrett vs. Orange Cassidy and Danhaussen - AEW Tag Team Championship match
The Gunns stunned everyone when they beat The Acclaimed for the AEW Tag Team Championship last month.
The Acclaimed are undoubtedly one of AEW's most popular acts, so taking the titles off them was confusing, as was having them enact their rematch clause in a multi-team match instead of demanding to go two-on-two with The Gunns.
This one is really hard to call but The Gunns retaining perhaps makes the most sense.

Jon Moxley vs. "Hangman" Adam Page - Texas Death match
This feud started after Page was knocked unconscious during their match on October 18, leaving him with a concussion and memory loss.
Page wouldn't return to AEW until November 30 when he confronted Moxley, leading to another match between the pair on January 11 which Page won. With one win a piece the pair had a third match on February 1, which Moxley won with a flash pin.
Unsatisfied with how Moxley won, a fourth match has been slated for Revolution but this time it's a Texas Death Match. This one promises to be a very bloody but spectacular affair.

Chris Jericho vs Ricky Starks - JAS banned from ringside
Ricky Starks defeated Chris Jericho in January after the former AEW World Champion was coming off an embarrassing loss to rookie Action Andretti.
Starks then suffered a series of attacks from the Jericho Appreciation Society, causing him to demand another match with Jericho. Starks then had to run the Garcia-Guevara Gauntlet Challenge to get another match with Jericho but he lost thanks to Jericho's interference.
At Revolution the JAS will be banned from ringside which should mean an even playing field for Starks. But the JAS always has a trick up their sleeve and the stipulation is interestingly now, 'JAS banned from ringside' rather than 'everyone banned'.

Jamie Hayter (c) vs. Saraya vs. Ruby Soho - AEW Women's Championship match
Jamie Hayter is undoubtedly the star of AEW's women's division right now, but the arrival of Saraya has seen her spotlight somewhat dimmed.
After Saraya's promos got the crowd off her side, she's turned heel – starting an 'AEW Originals' vs 'Outsiders' feud with Hayter and Ruby Soho, who's caught in the middle.
Hayter is great and her title run is just getting started, taking the AEW Women's Championship off her now would be way too soon, especially since we're yet to see Britt Baker turn on her.
Prediction: Jamie Hayter
Samoa Joe (c) vs Wardlow- AEW TNT Championship match
In December Wardlow faced former friend Samoa Joe on Dynamite in a losing effort. But to add insult to injury, Joe cut off Wardlow's ponytail after the match.
When Wardlow returned he explained that he'd grown his hair long as a tribute to his father who passed away from cancer a few years ago and Joe's actions would not go unpunished.
With Joe holding both the AEW TNT Championship and the Ring of Honor Television Championship, it makes sense for Wardlow to unburden him of one of the belts.
However, we already know the next challenger from the championship is Powerhouse Hobbs, who is long due his first title in AEW. So maybe letting Joe retain to lose the belt days later makes the most sense here.

The Elite (c) vs. The House of Black - AEW Trios Championship match
This match hasn't really had a build at all, save for the House of Black cutting spooky promos and stealing The Elite's titles in the dark.
But despite the lack of build, the talent involved means this match will probably be really memorable.

"Jungle Boy" Jack Perry vs Christian Cage - Final Burial match
Cage had been a mentor, or maybe even a father figure, to Perry before he turned on him in June 2022.
Due to Cage suffering an injury in September, this feud was cooled off before it was reheated a few weeks ago when Cage returned. During the feud, Cage has made references to Perry's late father, actor Jack Perry, as things turned increasingly personal between the pair.
On the go-home Rampage for Revolution, Perry told Cage he would give him the chance to say 'Hi' to his dad, after he puts him in the ground in a 'Final Burial' match.
While it's not been explained exactly what a Final Burial match is, this is certainly one of the most intriguing matches on the card.
