AEW's Darby Allin has been forced to postpone his climb of Mount Everest after breaking his foot.

TMZ Sports reported that Allin broke his foot two minutes into his match with Jay White at Dynamite Big Business on Wednesday (March 13) when he attempted a front flip off the top rope.

However, despite the injury, Allin continued with the match, eventually losing to White. TMZ added that Allin broke three bones in his right foot after landing badly on the floor outside the ring.

Allin was set to leave for the Mount Everest climb on March 27 and had spent months training to take on the epic challenge.

Following TMZ's report, Allin took to X to share a photo of his broken foot along with his X-ray and wrote: "Unfortunately the foots really broke from Wednesdays match. Everest will have to be next year."

Allin's match with White came just over a week after he teamed with Sting for the legend's last-ever match at Revolution.

Despite Allin going through a glass table during the match, he and Sting managed to defeat the Young Bucks, with Sting retiring as one half of the AEW Tag Team Champions.

The new Tag Team Champions will now be decided in a tournament which will begin on the March 16 episode of Collision and feature teams including FTR and the Young Bucks.
