The cast for Marvel series Agatha: Coven of Chaos just got even bigger with Sasheer Zamata confirming her involvement.

The WandaVision spin-off, which will also stream on Disney+, follows Agatha Harkness, a powerful witch whom we last saw facing off against Wanda Maximoff in her idyllic fantasy Westview, where Harkness was stripped of her magical abilities and condemned to live out her life in Westview.

Spree star Zamata will appear in the show as Jennifer Kale, a sorceress with an extensive history in the Marvel universe.

"It felt magical that I got to be in a show about witches. I talk about it so much in my [comedy] special," she told Mashable.

"I definitely did do as much [comic book] research as I could but the way we formed this character is very different from what I think people expect."

She joins the likes of Beau Is Afraid's Patti LuPone, Heartstopper star Joe Locke, I Wish You All The Best's Miles Gutierrez-Riley, and The White Lotus and Parks and Recreation's Aubrey Plaza in the series. Kathryn Hahn is set to reprise her role as Agatha for the series with Emma Caulfield also returning as Dottie.

Locke has teased what fans can expect from the eagerly anticipated show, surmising that it will "resonate with the queer community".

"The show is about misunderstood people and people who are alienated by their society for reasons that they can't control. I think that resonates a lot with the queer community. I think there'll be some camp." he told Entertainment Weekly.

LuPone has also given fans some insight into what they can expect from her character Lilia Calderu, one of the witches in the coven.

"I researched her. She's hot, she's really hot, she's got a great body and hair," she said during an appearance on The View, "I didn't know there were witches, I didn't know anything about the Marvel world. There are witches in the Marvel world."

"So, we are a coven of witches and the witches are: Kathryn Hahn, Aubrey Plaza, and [a] familiar – if anybody knows Heartstopper – is Joe Locke," she revealed, before describing Calderu as "a 450-year-old Sicilian witch whose power is divination and whose trial is tarot".

Agatha: Coven Of Chaos is set to be released on Disney+ in 2024. WandaVision is streaming on Disney+.
