Babymonster is back to its original seven-member lineup as Ahyeon returns after a brief exit.

Breaking the news: YG Entertainment founder Yang Hyun-suk announced the news of Ahyeon’s return in a YouTube video Thursday, informing fans that the 16-year-old singer has “fully recovered her health” and is now recording songs.

He also revealed that Babymonster’s debut single, “Batter Up,” and their upcoming single, “Stuck in the Middle” — set for release on Thursday — will be re-recorded to include the returning member.

Catch up: YG Entertainment announced in November that Ahyeon would not be a part of Babymonster’s debut, citing “health issues.” While the label did not provide specifics into the matter, it promised to provide the singer “with all resources so that she may return in her best condition.”

What's next: Yang announced that YG Entertainment has “significantly reinforced” its in-house producers from about 10 to 40 to 50. “I promise the process will be much faster and quicker than before,” he said. Babymonster’s first mini-album will be released on April 1, while a full album is being eyed for autumn.

YG Entertainment also released a teaser poster for “Stuck in the Middle.” It features the six debuting members — Ruka, Pharita, Asa, Rami, Rora and Chiquita — posing in front of a starry sky with planets as their backdrop.
