He ain't into making love: 50 Cent says he's practicing abstinence in 2024

"I don't have time to be distracted," the "In Da Club" rapper said.

Is 50 Cent about to become a P.R.I.E.S.T.?

The “In Da Club” rapper claims that he’s taking up abstinence in the new year. “My new idea is so big, I don’t have time to be distracted,” he wrote on Instagram. “I’m practicing abstinence, I have been meditating and focusing on my goals. I hope this New Year helps you excel to the next level.”

The rapper, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, also tagged Branson Cognac and Le Chemin du Roi, the two liquor brands that he owns, in the post. Those tags, coupled with the professional-looking photos of the post, may suggest that the entire endeavor is just the beginning of a larger advertising campaign.

It’s worth noting that Jackson didn’t explicitly say what he’s abstaining from, so it’s entirely possible that he may soon reveal that it’s something other than sex. After all, Snoop Dogg pulled a similar stint last year when he said that he’s “giving up smoke,” which turned out to be an endorsement for Solo Stove, which sells smokeless stoves and fire pits. So we might be days away from Jackson clarifying that he’s abstaining from… liquor companies that he doesn’t own, or something along those lines.

Maybe he’s lobbying to play Jesus in Martin Scorsese’s next movie, or perhaps he’s committing to pursuing Dame Helen Mirren full-time. Regardless, we’re excited to see what idea is so big that 50 Cent can’t be bothered to think about anything else.
