Alec Baldwin and wife Hilaria announce TLC reality series “The Baldwins”, starring all 7 of their kids

A new reality TV family has arrived — and only some of its members are potty trained!

Alec Baldwin, 66, and his wife, Hilaria, 40, are inviting fans into their home for The Baldwins, a new TLC series expected to capture the nonstop laughter, joy, and chaos of their nine-person household. The husband and wife duo shared the news in a Tuesday Instagram video, after jokingly assuring fans that the announcement was not another child.

"No, definitely not, we’re done having kids,” Hilaria said, after her husband expressed alarm. “This is about our show.”

A series of clips then see the parents attempting to wrangle their seven kids as Alec reveals the truth.

"We’re inviting you into our home to experience the ups and downs; the good, the bad, the wild and the crazy,” he tells viewers. “Home is the place we love to be most.”

After failing to get the kids to shout “We are the Baldwins” in unison, Alec laughs and adds, “We’re coming to TLC! God help you all.”

Alec and Hilaria, who tied the knot in June 2012, share seven children: Ilaria Catalina Irena, 19 months, María Lucía Victoria, 3, Eduardo Pao Lucas, 3, Romeo Alejandro David, 5, Leonardo Ángel Charles, 7, Rafael Thomas, 8, and Carmen Gabriela, 10. The 30 Rock alum also shares Ireland, 28, with ex-wife Kim Basinger.

News of The Baldwins comes weeks after Alec’s effort to dismiss the charge of involuntary manslaughter that he faces in connection with the fatal shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins was denied by a New Mexico judge.

Hutchins was killed and Rust director Joel Souza was wounded on Oct. 21, 2021, during production of the Western film, when a gun being held by Baldwin discharged. The actor, also a producer on the film, had been told the gun was "cold," meaning it did not contain live ammunition, according to an affidavit. Baldwin has also maintained that he did not pull the trigger. The actor is facing one criminal charge, with a trial slated for July.

The Baldwins is expected to arrive in 2025.
