Ali Wong is officially divorced.

On May 21, the 42-year-old comedian’s divorce from Justin Hakuta was finalized by a Los Angeles County judge in the Superior Court of California, more than two years after the pair announced their separation.

The details of their divorce settlement, including custody arrangements, were not included in the paperwork, though they did indicate that their status would be officially changed in July.

Per the documents obtained by PEOPLE, the couple’s date of separation is listed as April 10, 2022, two days before PEOPLE confirmed the news. A source said at the time that Wong and Hakuta, 41, were “amicable and they will continue to co-parent lovingly.”

More than a year later, in December 2023, Wong officially filed for divorce from the entrepreneur, citing “irreconcilable differences.” Two months later, Hakuta filed for joint custody of their two children, Mari Justin, 8, and Nikki Alex, 6.

At the time, he did not indicate a request for child support but noted that other issues in their ongoing divorce were to be resolved via mediation, per the documents obtained by PEOPLE.

Since their split, Wong has not commented on the ongoing separation, though she shouted out Hakuta at the 2024 Golden Globes as she accepted the award for best actress in a limited series, anthology series or a motion picture made for television for her starring role in Beef.

"I really need to thank the father of my children and my best friend, Justin, for all of your love and support,” she said in the speech. “It's because of you that I'm able to be a working mother.”

The couple met at a friend's wedding reception in 2010 and hit it off instantly. At the time, Hakuta was a Fulbright scholar and student at Harvard Business School. In 2014, they got married in San Francisco, and welcomed their daughters within the following three years.

Since separating from Hakuta, Wong has been Bill Hader. They first started dating in the fall of 2022, and after separating for a bit, PEOPLE confirmed that the pair had rekindled their romance in April 2023.

Over the awards season, the pair made several outings together, and Hader, 45, was by his girlfriend’s side as she picked up a Golden Globe, Emmy, and Critics Choice Award for Beef.

Wong described their pairing as “very selectively private” in an interview with Access Hollywood, noting that they’ve “been together for a minute” and have a lot in common, as they’re both parents and in the same stage of their lives.

During the Netflix Is a Joke comedy festival earlier this month, Hader surprised crowds at The Wiltern in L.A. during Wong’s set after she asked the crowd if they wanted to “meet” her “boyfriend.”

Hader came out on stage with a red rose for the comedian and kissed her, before praising how “effortless” she made the set look. Before leaving the stage, Hader declared, "Ali Wong is off the market!"
