Allison Holker Boss isn't closed off to finding love in the wake of her late husband Stephen "tWitch" Boss' death.

On Thursday's episode of Nick Viall's The Viall Files podcast, the So You Think You Can Dance alum, 35, acknowledged that her love life has become a "hot topic" after her husband's death in December 2022.

As she continued to grieve and work through her emotions, Allison said she needed to "learn to love myself," but also find answers as to whether or not she could "like someone else again."

When that question seemed like a real possibility, the professional dancer said she then wondered if she could "love someone else again while I still like someone and love someone else."

Stephen died suddenly on Dec. 13, 2022. He was 40. Allison confirmed his death the next day in a statement to PEOPLE, describing the kind of person her husband was and reflected on the legacy he had built.

"Stephen lit up every room he stepped into. He valued family, friends and community above all else and leading with love and light was everything to him. He was the backbone of our family, the best husband and father, and an inspiration to his fans," she said.

"To say he left a legacy would be an understatement, and his positive impact will continue to be felt," she added. "I am certain there won't be a day that goes by that we won't honor his memory. We ask for privacy during this difficult time for myself and especially for our three children."
