This birthday will definitely be one that Alyssa Farah Griffin will remember.

During the Friday, June 14 episode of The View, the host was treated to cookies instead of the “gorgeous” cake the show had planned because a crew member accidentally dropped the cake on the ground.

Farah Griffin, who turns 35 on June 15, was also surprised by her co-hosts with a special musical performance.

Joy Behar told her cohost that they wanted to wish her an early happy birthday. “And we have these cookies here from Milk Bar,” she continued. “Now, you have to know that we had a stupendous, gorgeous cake for you but the crew dropped it.”

Farah Griffin took the baked blunder in stride. “Is that a metaphor, probably?” she joked. A picture of the cake, which had fallen over, smearing frosting all over the floor and even onto a stool, was shown.

Behar, 81, replied, “I don’t know who the exact perpetrator was, he knows who he is, but we want to wish you a happy birthday. And have a cookie.”

Farah Griffin joined The View in August 2022, taking over Meghan McCain’s seat at the table.

Despite the snafu, it was still a good birthday for Farah Griffin, who was surprised with a performance by Hanson, one of her favorite bands. She was told by her cohosts that they were taping a dog adoption segment, but entered a mini concert instead.

“This is my dream,” she told the band, who sang a melody of their hits including "MMMBop" and "Where's the Love?" “All my first crushes in one place, don’t tell my husband!” she joked.
