Ammar Alfian Aziz denies assault

28 Jul – Malaysian actor Ammar Alfian Aziz came forward to clarify that he did not choke and hit his lover, Puteri Sarah, as reported in the Malaysian media on Wednesday, according to mStar Online.

According to the "Dia Atilia" actor, the couple had no idea how such news could surface, seeing as their relationship is in a very good place at the moment.

"Sarah and I didn't know anything until a friend contacted me today (Wednesday) and told stories of me choking Sarah as written in the newspapers."

"I was shocked when I heard the bad news, when in fact, yesterday we weren't even fighting but were both making preparations for our Sydney trip for the coming Monday to visit Sarah's sister who studies there."

"So, the story of me choking and hitting Sarah is absolutely false," Ammar told mStar Online.

Ammar was also asked to comment on a newspaper statement that took their source from the police reporting that an actor punched, choked and even threatened to kill his lover at a condominium in Damansara.

The report also revealed that the actor was furious because his lover, who is also an actress, caught him cheating when she made a surprise visit to that said condominium.

Ammar, who has made previous threats to "kill" reporters before this, knew that the report was directed at him even though there was no name mentioned.

He added: "Sarah told me that a reporter contacted her asking about the police report in regards to the case where I so called "hit" and "choke" her.

"But she denied it. I feel it is strange that a story like this can spread even though it's not true."

Apart from that, Ammar prefers to stay on the low side of things now, as his previous fight back didn't pan out well for him. Instead, he keeps himself busy preparing for his latest movie, "Skandal".

"I must keep my body in superb condition by eating less rice because there might be scenes that require me to jump and fight," he told reporters.
