Amy Poehler Expands Deal With Audacy Podcasts; ‘Million Dollar Advice’ & ‘Women Talkin’ ‘Bout Murder’ Set

EXCLUSIVE: Amy Poehler’s Paper Kite Productions is behind podcasts including Say More with Dr? Sheila and The Chris Chatman Do-Over.

The company, via its Paper Kite Podcasts banner, is now growing this as it expands its relationship with Audacy Podcasts.

This includes Million Dollar Advice, hosted by Kim Lessing and Kate Arend, Paper Kite’s co-heads of film and television, and improvised comedy Women Talkin’ ‘Bout Murder.

Million Dollar Advice will launch on March 27 and will see Lessing and Arend help listeners address their work-related dilemmas including landing your dream job to setting boundaries with co-workers and solving cross-generational communication issues. Poehler will appear in the second episode, which comes out on March 28.

Million Dollar Advice is executive produced by Poehler, Lessing, Arend, Jenna Weiss-Berman, and Leah Reis-Dennis.  It will be produced by the team at Audacy’s Pineapple Street Studios.

Women Talkin’ ‘Bout Murder is the third show in a three-season improvised comedy podcast franchise from the two companies. It is a true crime satire starring Liz Cackowski and Emily Spivey and will come out later this spring.

It follows Say More with Dr? Sheila, which stars Poehler as a fictional therapist with questionable methods and credentials, and The Chris Chatman Do-Over, starring Ike Barinholtz as a controversial shock jock striving to improve his reputation.
