The actors behind the animated characters in Disney and Pixar’s new film “Inside Out 2” hit the red carpet for the premiere in Los Angeles on Monday. Amy Poehler, Maya Hawke, Ayo Edebiri and more stars who lent their voices to the sequel to 2015’s “Inside Out” fashioned colorful designer looks for the occasion.

Inspired by springtime and the upcoming summer season, Amy Poehler fashioned this long-sleeve maxidress from Monique Lhuiller’s spring 2024 ready-to-wear collection. The dress featured cascading florals in hues of bright blue, pink, yellow and more.
Maya Hawke
Maya Hawke saw green in her custom look courtesy of Prada. The midi dress featured a vibrant sheen and floral elements. The actress and singer completed her ensemble with a pair of strappy metallic sandals. Hawke modeled in campaigns for the Italian luxury fashion house in the recent past.
Ayo Edebiri
“The Bear” Emmy winner Ayo Edebiri kept it playful in this custom light teal suit from Bottega Veneta. The actress’ ensemble consisted of a coordinated pair of cropped, high-waisted trousers, button-down shirt and blazer. Edebiri complemented the monochrome ensemble with a pair of peep-toe heels. Edebiri’s ensemble was curated by stylist Danielle Goldberg.
Liza Lapira
Actress Liza Lapira went strapless in this look by Saiid Kobeisy. The voluminous gown featured large, circular patterning in shades of yellow, gray and a combination of the two hues. Lapira’s gown also included layered fabric, giving the ensemble a geometric look.
June Diane Raphael
June Diane Raphael put her own spin on color-blocked dressing with her look at the “Inside Out 2” premiere. The actress fashioned an oversize blazer in a cream color shade with a black turtleneck and leather miniskirt, completing the ensemble with black heels.

“Inside Out 2” is the sequel to 2015’s animated feature “Inside Out.” The film follows Riley as she experiences new emotions throughout her burgeoning teenage years. The film hits theaters on Friday.
