Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes have hit another milestone when it comes to merging their families.

Robach, 50, revealed in the latest episode of their Amy and T.J. podcast that her daughters Ava, 21, and Annalise, 17, whom she shares with ex-husband Tim McIntosh, have been becoming more comfortable with Holmes’ daughter Sabine, 11, whom he shares with ex Marilee Fiebig.

“Our daughters have known each other… my daughters babysat your daughter when she was little and I know they communicated on her birthday as well, which was very sweet,” Robach said on the podcast, likely referring to Ava’s birthday on Dec. 29.

“It’s just nice to see everything becoming normal and getting easier and effortless actually,” Robach continued. “Because it was effort before, and maybe that was just us putting the effort on the situation but it's been great.”

Holmes, who also shares daughter Brianna and son Jaiden with ex-wife Amy Ferson, noted that it’s difficult to “find the right balance” between spending time with his kids and his partner and “bringing everybody together,” but praised Robach for her efforts with his youngest daughter.

“You've been great, and it’s been one of the great, great, great, joys over the past several months, six months plus, [seeing] how Sabine’s really taking it,” Holmes, 46, said. “She’s known you since she was 1 [year old], but knowing you in a different capacity now has been really cool to watch.”

“Sometimes, I’ll pick her up from school and say yeah, Robach’s not at the house, and then she’s like, ‘Okay then, I don’t wanna come,’ because she’s disappointed you’re not there,” he explained.

The former GMA3: What You Need To Know anchor said she attributed her success with Sabine to having been “a “girl mom.”

“It comes very easily to me,” she shared. “And you kinda let girls lead the way. You can't tell a girl who to like, who to hang out with, what to think [and] what to do… I, at least, had that experience growing up with my daughters, so it's served me well on navigating all of this.”
