Amy Robach Says She and T.J. Holmes Are 'Missing Out' on Having Kids Together, Have ‘Similar’ Parenting Styles
The couple is acknowledging that while they're both parents, having a child they share is out of the cards for them
Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes are happy with what they have together but are talking about the one thing they can't share.
On this week's episode of the former GMA3: What You Need to Know co-anchors' podcast, Amy and T.J. Podcast on iHeartRadio, Holmes, 46, asks Robach, 50, about whether she thinks they're "missing out on having kids."
"Absolutely. Yes," she replies. When he asks why, she explains, "I see your parenting style and it's very similar to mine and that is a gift."
"If any of you all out there have a shared parenting style with your partner that makes life so much easier or at least a little bit easier. And it feels good to have a similar mode of operation when it comes to what we want for our kids, what we want to teach them," she explains.
"And what I love about you is that you're willing to let your child not like you in the moment to teach them a lesson to do the right thing. I appreciate that."
She concludes, "So yes, I have multiple times been a little sad that we did not come together at a time where we could have had that option."

Robach shares two daughters, Ava and Annalise, with her ex-husband Tim McIntosh. Holmes, meanwhile, is dad to 10-year-old daughter Sabine with his ex-wife Marilee Fiebig, and also shares daughter Brianna and son Jaiden with first wife Amy Ferson.
Holmes and Fiebig filed for divorce in Dec. 2022 shortly after his relationship with Robach was made public. Their divorce was finalized in October.
When news of Holmes and Robach’s workplace romance emerged, Robach had also not confirmed her separation from her actor husband Andrew Shue.
In December on their podcast, the two addressed the reports that Homes' ex-wife, Fiebig, and Robach’s ex-husband, Shue, are dating.
“We absolutely anticipated that that was going to happen. There’s nothing we can do about those,” Holmes said, before sharing what he and Robach’s vision is for their new podcast. “But this place, this podcast, this platform is not and will never be… We are committed to a place that this is not gonna be about gossip, this is not gonna be a place where we clap back at headlines.”
He continued, “We are not going to get into that back and forth game because gossip is toxic.”
