Andi Bernadee's new single is about hardships during COVID-19

1 Feb – Andi Bernardee recently shared that his new song "Kais Pagi Kais Petang" is dedicated to all Malaysians who are struggling to provide for their families during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The 30 year-old singer, who is famous for his reggaeton sound, shared that the new single is different from his previous music, as it will be about the hardships that people have to go through when it comes to making money and providing for their families.

"This situation is faced by a lot of people, even our own family members and friends. They work hard all day every day, doing all kinds of work, only to make ends meet," he said. "When you're living on a salary, you always have to face risks, like using all your money before making it to the end of the month," he said.

Andi hopes that his new song - which is also a collaboration with MFMF and Nasir Deraman - will be able to encourage everybody to muddle through the tough times, including his fellow artistes who could not perform during the Movement Control Order (MCO).

"I understand the hardships that everybody goes through, especially friends in the creative industry who are losing their source of income right now. I hope the song will not only entertain but become a source of encouragement for them," he said.

The new song is now available on all music streaming services.

On the other hand, fans will also be able to watch Andi in his new TV drama, "Melastik Ke Hatimu" on Slot Lestary TV3.
