Andy Lau reveals why he is still working today
10 Oct - He may have more money in his bank account than a thousand people combined, but Andy Lau does not think he should be retiring anytime soon.
As reported on Oriental Daily, the actor, who sat down for an interview to promote his movie, "Moscow Mission", was asked by Youku Movies about his tendency to still work hard in movies, despite reports saying that his net worth has reached over HKD 10 billion.
To that, Andy admitted that he could indeed "lie down and do nothing", but that after going home and sitting down for three days, he will not be able to stop himself from thinking about work on the fourth day.
"Because there is another generation in my family. If the children see me like this, they will think they want to be like dad. This will set a bad example," he said.
The actor then stated that he was not trying to make a breakthrough when it comes to his movies, but instead to live a more valuable life.
Andy's new movie, "Moscow Mission" is based on the true story of the China-Russia Train Robbery that happened in 1993. The Herman Yau film follows a team of Chinese police who engaged in a cross-border investigation and vowed to bring the perpetrators to justice.
