Fans want to know why Anne Burrell isn’t on Worst Cooks in America Celebrity Addition: Heroes vs. Villains and, according to Instagram, Burrell wants to know, too.

The latest season of the Food Network series stars Jeff Mauro and Antonia Lofaso as the mentors to a cast of 10 amateur chefs. Not long after the first episode aired on Sunday, Jan. 5, followers went to Burrell’s Instagram to ask the longtime host of the Food Network competition series about why she isn’t in season 28.

“Chef-how come you are not doing Worst Cooks this season. That is your show,” one fan asked on a Jan. 10 post. Burrell replied, “Uuuuughhh…I know. And I don’t know. 🫤🤷🏼‍♀️❤️” Another fan commented on a picture of pasta from Jan. 15, “Looks delicious. I miss you on worst cooks. I’m sitting out this season.” Burrell responded, “You and me both Lovely!!! ❤️”

The celebrity chef has served as a host — also known as a mentor on the series — on Worst Cooks in America since 2010. Her co-hosts have changed over the seasons between Food Network stars like Rachael Ray, Robert Irvine, Bobby Flay, Tyler Florence and others.

The current season divides reality TV stars into teams of heroes, who Mauros is overseeing, and villains, under Lofaso’s lead. Big Brother’s Frankie Grande, Flavor of Love’s Tiffany Pollard, Love Is Blind’s Bartise Bowden and others are competing for a $25,000 cash prize to donate to a charity of their choice.

Neither Burrell nor Food Network had an official comment to share with PEOPLE.

The latest season of Kids Baking Championship also saw a change from a longtime host. Kardea Brown took over for Valerie Bertinelli as a co-host of the Food Network series alongside Duff Goldman.

Kids Baking Championship: Amazing Animals, which is airing new episodes every Monday, sees 12 juvenile bakers compete in furry, feathered and finned challenges over 10 episodes. The Delicious Miss Brown host and Ace of Taste star task the contestants with animal-inspired tasks until one of the dozen kids is crowned champion and gets $25,000 and a feature in Food Network Magazine.
