Anthony Hill: Body found in search for missing teacher who worked for Martin Lewis's MoneySavingExpert

A body has been found in the search for a missing teacher who used to work for Martin Lewis's MoneySavingExpert website.

Anthony Hill, 37, was reported missing from his home in Norwich on Monday.

A body was found in an area off Heathgate - northeast of the city centre - shortly before 8pm on Thursday, Norfolk Police said.

While formal identification is yet to take place, Mr Hill's family has been informed, officers said.

"The death is not believed to be suspicious, and a file will be prepared for the coroner in due course," the force said in an update on its website.

Martin Lewis, who shared a police missing person's appeal on Tuesday, said Mr Hill was a "lovely man who used to work on the MoneySavingExpert deals team before leaving to pursue his valiant passion to get into teaching".

Posting on X on Friday, Mr Lewis shared the news that a body had been found with a "heavy heart", sending his love to "Ant's wife Kayleigh and their little girls".

"It's the worst news," Mr Lewis said.

"I'm so sorry for all Ant's friends and his little pupils. I will remember you fondly, Ant."

The financial guru thanked the thousands of people who shared social media posts while Mr Hill was missing.

"I know it gave succour to his family," he added.

Mr Lewis set up the MoneySavingExpert website in 2003, before selling it to the MoneySupermarket Group in 2012.

On Thursday, Mr Hill's wife, Kayleigh, thanked those who had joined the search for her husband, and said it was "heart-warming" to "see the community come together to search for someone they don't know".
