Anya Taylor-Joy's Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga fashion tour is still going strong, with the actress stepping out in a sculptural red minidress from Mugler's Fall 2024 collection that had a very daring and super-sexy back detail: thin black straps that went down her back and side to reveal a sliver of skin underneath. Taylor-Joy wore the tiny dress, which featured 3-D details over her stomach and strong shoulders, with a pair of sky-high Christian Louboutin shoes and a statement-making silver bone cuff from Tiffany & Co.

The star finished her look with a bold red lip color and pulled her icy, platinum-blonde hair into a high, tight ponytail that cascaded down her back. Other details included a set of long, almond-shaped beige nails and a few dainty silver rings. The dress included a flowing, draped embellishment on her shoulders and each back tie had a long, loose end that flowed down her back like a fringe.

Speaking about the role to GQ, Taylor-Joy noted that the role allowed her to tap into female rage, adding that she was "grateful" for the chance to play Furiosa, a role originated by Charlize Theron in 2015's Mad Max: Fury Road.

“For a long time the only time I ever got angry was on other people’s behalf. I’ve always internalized this thing of ‘I’ve done something wrong. If you treat me badly, it’s because I am the problem,'" Taylor-Joy said. "And I’m so grateful for Furiosa, because there was a real moment where I started getting angry for myself."

Taylor-Joy also noted that one of her scenes with Chris Hemsworth (he plays a character named Dementus) didn't make the cut, because it may have been too gory. She explained that she sliced out his tongue and keeps the prosthetic prop as a keepsake in her home.

“It was really important to me that the confrontation between Furiosa and Dementus be a physical one, and that it was hard-won,” she said. “It needed it; she needed it. I think there is something in seeing this person turn to something more carnal within herself.”

Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga arrives in theaters on May 24.
