FAA seeks to fine SpaceX $633,000 over 2023 launch requirements
WASHINGTON (Reuters) -The Federal Aviation Administration said Tuesday it proposing to fine Elon Musk's SpaceX $633,000 for allegedly failing to follow license requirements and not getting approval for changes during two launches in 2023. The FAA said SpaceX failed to get approval to revise its communications plan related to its license to launch from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida including adding a new launch control room at Hangar X and removing the T-2 hour readiness poll from its procedures before a June 2023 launch. SpaceX used the unapproved launch control room for the PSN SATRIA mission and did not conduct the required poll, the FAA said.

Intuitive Machines clinches $4.8 billion navigation services contract from NASA
(Reuters) -Intuitive Machines said on Tuesday it has bagged a navigation and communication services contract of up to $4.82 billion from NASA for missions in the near space region. Shares of the space exploration company rose 52% to $8.21 in aftermarket trading and have more than doubled so far this year. As part of the contract, which has a base period of five years with an additional five-year option period, Intuitive will deploy lunar relay satellites and provide communication and navigation services to aid NASA's Artemis campaign.
