The Apprentice stars marry and confirm family plans
The Apprentice couple Harpreet Kaur and Akshay Thakrar have tied the knot after meeting on season 16 of the show in 2022.
Season 16 winner Harpreet and her co-star Akshay, who was fired after the ninth task, started dating shortly after the show wrapped and got engaged in May last year.
The pair have celebrated with their families and friends, including The Apprentice's Tim Campbell and his wife, in a three-day wedding extravaganza, including a civil ceremony, a religious ceremony and a reception.
"I just wish we could do it all again. It went even better than we planned!" Harpreet shared with OK! magazine.

"The only way I can describe our wedding is that it felt like a movie. It was amazing," Akshay said.
He went on to explain: "Harps is Punjabi and I'm a Gujarati Hindu, so we wanted to merge traditions from each. Our families loved that and we really enjoyed seeing each other's culture."
"There was a moment when I looked around the room and I said to Harpreet, 'Do you realise everyone in this room means something to us?' They had all come for us and to celebrate us. It was amazing," Akshay added.
Reflecting on their Apprentice romance, Akshay said that he included a nod to the show in his speech.
"It's crazy – what a story that we met on the show," he said. "I said in my speech, 'I think I'm the only man who can say I met my wife on The Apprentice'."

Following their lavish wedding, Harpreet and Akshay are off to the Seychelles and Dubai for their honeymoon.
Discussing future plans, Harpreet confirmed they're keen to start a family, but she assured there won't be an Apprentice baby anytime soon.
"We would love to start a family," she said. "We're going to wait though – we've only been together for two years. I want to appreciate each other and travel first. We have time."
The Apprentice and its spin-off The Apprentice: You're Fired are streaming on BBC iPlayer.
