Arsenal player ratings vs Wolves: Martin Odegaard back to his best but Oleksandr Zinchenko caught out
Arsenal extended their lead at the top of the Premier League to four points by beating Wolves.
The Gunners profited from a fast start and they were 2-0 up inside the opening 15 minutes.
Bukayo Saka opened the scoring and then Martin Odegaard doubled Arsenal's lead by finishing off a flowing move.
Wolves managed to steady the ship and pulled one back late on through Matheus Cunha, but it wasn't enough.
Simon Collings was at the Emirates Stadium to rate the Arsenal players...
David Raya 6
Made a smart save to deny Hwang Hee-chan just before half-time. Could do nothing about Cunha's late goal.
Takehiro Tomiyasu 7
Assisted the opening goal and looked great going forward early on. Defensively solid, as always. Concerns as he appeared to go off injured.
William Saliba 7
Pretty comfortable afternoon for the Frenchman, who did not get fazed much until Wolves' late rally.
Gabriel 7
Made a good tackle on Cunha when the striker skipped past him in the box. Solid performance overall.
Set up the second goal with some sharp movement and a great cross. Caught out at the back, though, and allowed Wolves to pull one back.
Martin Odegaard 8 | Star player
Doubled Arsenal's lead with a well-taken goal. Looked much more like his usual self and opened up Wolves' defence on more than one occasion.
Declan Rice 7
Didn't have too much to do at the base of midfield. Still broke up play really nicely when asked to and assured on the ball.
Leandro Trossard 6
Given the nod ahead of Kai Havertz, but struggled to make an impact in midfield. Should have scored late on when played in by Odegaard.
Bukayo Saka 8
Opened the scoring by finishing well with his right foot after some slick build-up play.
Gabriel Jesus 6
Missed two good chances in the first half, but his link play was good. Heavily involved in the first goal.
Gabriel Martinelli 7
Unlucky not to get on the scoresheet after hitting the post in the first half. Full of running, as always, and caused Nelson Semedo problems.
