Augmented Reality Nintendo eShop exclusive Chibi Robo Photo Finder launching January 9, 2014 for English market

The GameCube’s charming little Chibi-Robo has been overhauled for a new audience. In Chibi-Robo Photo Finder, Chibi Robo has to kickstart a new museum by helping to populate it with “nostal junk”. But he can only do that with your help.

For you see, nostal junk only appears in his world when the player finds an object in real life that fits the silhouette in their game. True to his roots – the old Chibi-Robo game had him helping his family out – Chibi-Robo will also progress through his quest by being a good Samaritan to weird little characters. Just make sure he doesn’t run out of battery…

Chibi-Robo Photo Finder will also have community events called nostal junk challenges. Players will be given just one silhouette that will challenge them to get creative. Success may even earn you an outfit for Chibi-Robo.

Chibi-Robo Photo Finder will launch on the eShop on January 9, 2014, and feature a demo version for download on the same day.
