Baby pygmy goats stolen from farm
Three baby pygmy goats have been stolen from a farm in East Sussex.
The incident happened at Honeycomb Farm in Hailsham some time between 16:00 BST on Sunday and 06:00 on Monday.
"We have got their mums who are still crying for them," Antonia Koc from the farm said.
Sussex Police said the incident had been passed on to its Rural Crime Team and an investigation had been launched.
Ms Koc said the female goats, named Jasmine, Primrose, and Poppy, were found missing on Monday morning with the door to their enclosure "jimmied open".
The goats were her six-year-old daughter's, who she said was "devastated".
Ms Koc says pygmy goats are "quite sought after monetary wise", particularly the females.
She explained this could have been why a male pygmy goat was left behind.
Ms Koc said: "They are super friendly little things that are a joy to be around, which is the reason why we have them.
"They go to shows, they are just fun animals to have if you've got the space to have them."
She also explained that the animals had specialist needs and required specific food.
"It's not something you can just go into without any experience."
Ms Koc said she believed the chances of the animals being returned were "very small".
