Bam Margera has a big supporter on his sobriety journey — Mark Wahlberg.

The Jackass star, 44, shared an Instagram video he received of Wahlberg giving him some words of encouragement as he passed another major sobriety milestone.

“So happy for you and your sobriety,” Wahlberg could be seen saying in the short clip. “Wow, 120 days. God bless you bro, hope you and your family are well and I look forward to connecting with you soon.”

“I’ve always been such a big fan and I look forward to seeing you brother,” he added.

Margera sent his own appreciative message back to the Father Stu actor in the caption of the post, writing “thanks to mark wahlberg for the positive words! Who’s counting anymore when your happy 🤟🏻”

Margera admitted to TMZ that the pair hadn’t really known each other and had only met a few times at industry shows and parties, but he was willing to take Wahlberg up on his offer to meet up.

The TV personality, who faced legal issues earlier this year, said he attributed his sobriety to his girlfriend Dannii, as well as to the gym and his love of skateboarding, and thanked Dannii for helping him stay on the right path. He has posted several new videos to his Instagram account showing his dedication to his new, healthy lifestyle.

Earlier this week, he posted videos of him skateboarding at a skate park in Texas, showing off his tricks. He also posted a video sharing a glimpse at his fitness routine with his girlfriend, which incorporated yoga and working with yoga balls.

All the hard work appears to have paid off as Margera told TMZ that he recently got cleared to see his 5-year-old son Phoenix again and was planning a trip to California to visit him.

Margera's estranged wife Nicole "Nikki" Boyd filed for divorce in February after separating in September 2021. She requested to have legal and physical custody of the pair's son.

The lifestyle change is a big one for the star after facing a domestic violence charge earlier this year. In March, he was arrested in San Diego County for allegedly kicking a woman in Escondido, Calif. He also was ordered to trial in July after allegedly physically assaulting his brother Jess Margera.

Margera was also noticeably absent from 2022's Jackass Forever after being fired. The firing led to a wrongful termination lawsuit that was ultimately dismissed by Margera in April 2022.

"It's really heartbreaking," Knoxville told Variety in January 2022 of Margera's absence from all but one stunt in the film. "I love Bam. We all love Bam. He's our brother, you know? You just hope that he takes it upon himself to get the help that he needs because we all care about him a lot."
