Barbie's Greta Gerwig and Noah Baumbach marry in New York ceremony
Congratulations are in order for Barbie's Greta Gerwig and Noah Baumbach, who recently got married in New York City.
The Lady Bird helmer and Marriage Story filmmaker, who have worked together on a number of projects, have been dating since 2011 after meeting the year beforehand on the set of Greenberg.
People has confirmed with Gerwig's representative that they did indeed tie the knot at New York City Hall, while Page Six adds that they went to celebrate at a Billy Joel concert afterwards.

It's been a big year for the couple beyond their marriage. Barbie released to huge acclaim and an even bigger box office, becoming one of the cultural moments of the year, which isn't bad for a film that Baumbach admitted to thinking was a "terrible idea" originally.
"Greta signed me up for it," he said. "I was just like, 'I don't see how this is going to be good at all.' I kind of blocked it for a while and every time she'd bring it up, I'd be like, 'You've gotta get us out of this.'"
He soon changed his mind, stating: "It was the most fun I think either of us have ever had. At a certain point, I was like, 'I think this is the best thing we've ever written.' I know enough always just to follow what Greta says."

Beyond that, they also welcomed their second child together back in February, although they understandably chose to not make the news public until a few months afterwards.
"He's a little Schmoo," said Gerwig when talking about what he was like at four months. "That's very much his energy.
"The little guy is sleeping through the night. But I'm still doing that thing where I wake up, every hour to 90 minutes, and just hover.
"You just keep wanting to look at that baby. So I'm slightly in a twilight state."
