‘Battle On The Mountain’ Gets Premiere Date At HGTV

Battle on the Mountain, an extension of HGTV’s popular competition series Battle on the Beach, is set to premiere Monday, January 22 at 9 pm with a two-hour episode.

Set at 13,000 feet above sea level, the six-episode Battle on the Mountain features three skilled teams, coached by home experts Rico León (Rico to the Rescue), Kim Myles (Design Star: Next Gen) and Kim Wolfe (Why The Heck Did I Buy This House?), who will face off to upgrade similar mountainside homes in Breckenridge, Colorado. Each team will work to add the most property value in hopes of clinching bragging rights and a $50,000 cash prize.

The premiere episode kicks off with kitchen and dining room makeovers that will set the tone for each mountaintop property’s metamorphosis, judged by popular HGTV home renovation couple Chelsea and Cole DeBoer (Down Home Fab) who will award the challenge winners with a $3,000 cash prize. As the season continues, the coaches will guide their teams as they transform the living rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms and outdoor spaces from dilapidated to delightful.

HGTV stars including Egypt Sherrod and Mike Jackson (Married to Real Estate); Jasmine Roth (Help! I Wrecked My House) and Page Turner (Fix My Flip); and Battle on the Beach mentors Taniya Nayak, Ty Pennington, Alison Victoria, along with Cristy Lee (Steal This House) also will appear throughout the season.

Battle on the Mountain is produced by Departure Films.
