Alex Cooper and Matt Kaplan Are Officially Married!
Despite the dumpster fire year that was 2023 for celebrity breakups (there were no less than 45—I repeat: 45!!!—splits), Hollywood clearly still loves, well, love! After all, we're only three months into 2024 but are witnessing a whirlwind of celebrity weddings that have made our collective hearts melt.
And honestly? We're forever thankful because though weddings in general bring us immense joy, there’s truly nothing quite like one thrown by a famous face. From iconic Las Vegas parties to tropical celebrations abroad, the stars pulled out all the stops to declare their love in 2024—so let's get into it! Oh, and definitely expect this list to get updated as more celebs say “I do.”
April: Alex Cooper and Matt Kaplan
It's official—Father Cooper is also Mrs. Cooper Kaplan. The Cosmo cover star and film producer tied the knot on April 4 in Riviera Maya, Mexico. "It was everything we wanted it to be," Alex told Vogue of the wedding. "It was emotional, heartfelt, and we tailored it to exactly how we always envisioned it." The couple did things their way for their nuptials, as Alex walked herself down the aisle and they opted for a "first shot" with all their guests instead of a "first dance." Simpy iconic!
March: Brock Purdy and Jenna Brandt
The San Francisco 49ers quarterback and his now-wife first met as students at Iowa State University, where he played football and she was a setter on the volleyball team.
And while the couple hasn't exactly revealed how they began their relationship, it's likely that they first crossed paths while attending college at the same time.
But in a true fairytale love story, they've been together since those days and ultimately exchanged vows on March 9 in Des Moines, Iowa. Back when they first got engaged, the two posted a series of 🥺 pics that announced the news.
“My Jenna girl forever. I can’t wait to be your husband and grow together in Christ. Here’s to forever babe. I love you JB!” wrote the footballer, while Jenna penned, “WE GET TO DO LIFE TOGETHER…FOREVER! Brock Purdy - I love everything about you & your heart for Jesus more than any words can say.”
Love their love!
February: Usher and Jenn Goicoechea
We truly didn't think that Usher could top his 2024 Super Bowl Halftime performance, but he totally did by getting married! Per People, the hitmaker and his longtime girlfriend tied the knot in Las Vegas on February 11. “We can confirm that Usher and Jennifer Goicoechea took the next step in their relationship and did get married on Sunday night in Las Vegas surrounded by close friends and family,” a representative told the outlet at the time. “They both look forward to continuing to raise their children together surrounded by love and thank everyone for the well wishes.”
Btw, the couple is said to have exchanged vows at the drive-through wedding venue Terrace Gazebo in Vegas with Usher’s mother, Jonetta Patton, acting as their witness. Prior to the iconic ceremony (you've gotta check out the pics!), Usher full-on gushed about Jenn, whom he met in 2019 and shares two children with. “Listen, when you find someone that you know is a great partner, of course it is an honor and a pleasure to be able to share life with someone who wants to share it with you and loves you, who you are,” he said to People just prior to his Super Bowl performance.
“We've obviously made a commitment to life for life together because of our children. It wouldn't be odd for us to get married...And we're going to be in each other's lives until we die, obviously, because we have something to share. That's beautiful,” he continued.
We're not crying, you are!

Donald Glover and Michelle White
Mr. and Mrs. Smith Mr. and Mrs. Glover have been together since 2015 and recently got hitched! And what's honestly as incredible as the fact that they made things official official is how the news was publicized.
During a February 7 interview with the Hollywood Reporter, Donald revealed that he and Michelle had quietly wed while he was filming the Mr. & Mrs. Smith television show. “There was a day where I don't think we had to be on set until noon or 1,” the musician dished to the outlet before adding, “So, I was like, 'Can we get married today?”
The celeb then added that he and his now-wife ultimately had a “real” wedding later that night: “I got married in the morning. We had a real wedding afterwards, too. [That night, though,] we went to our favorite restaurant and then her parents and my mom were waiting for us at the house.”
Honestly? Obsessed! Btw, the couple currently shares three children together: Legend, Drake, and Donald Glover III.
January: Chanel Iman and Davon Godchaux
Chanel Iman and New England Patriots defensive tackle Davon Godchaux officially tied the knot with not one, but two events: a civil ceremony in New York on January 10 and an elopement on a yacht (not not jealous) in the Caribbean Sea on February 24, according to an interview the model had with Vogue.
During the convo, Chanel also revealed that she and Davon fully, “planned the wedding the way we desired—doing something together that we love with our kids and our blended family...This was our ideal, dream day.”
A refresher: The duo announced their engagement in May 2023 via Instagram while they were expecting their first child, Capri Summer Godchaux, together (Chanel also shares two daughters—Cassie and Cali—with her ex, Sterling Shepard).
January: Josh Radnor and Jordana Jacobs
The How I Met Your Mother alum took to Instagram on January 19 to announce the!!!! news that he'd gotten married “two weeks ago” in the middle of a *checks notes* “light blizzard” in New York’s Hudson Valley. Honestly, the whole ~thing~ kinda sounds like a funny episode of his hit show until you look at the s-t-u-n-n-i-n-g pics of the ceremony.
“It was an incredible overwhelming snowy bliss-filled weekend. So grateful to so many people I love for making the trip to @thesistersofcedarlakes to be with us. To @forgedinthenorth for the extraordinary pictures. To @samspector for the extraordinary suits. But most of all to Jordana. I can’t believe my great good fortune that I get to call this extraordinary woman my wife,” the actor added in his gushing tribute. Couldn't be more obsessed if we tried!
January: Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist
The first-ever Golden Bachelor couple said “I do” at the La Quinta Resort in California on January 4. And, yes, Gerry and Theresa were totally surrounded by a buncha Bachelor Nation alums, including Charity Lawson, Michelle Young, and Zach Shallcross.
To say that pretty much everything went at this wedding is a serious understatement, since there was everything from a truly tearful (in the best way!) vow exchange to a competitive bouquet toss among all of the other Golden Bachelor ladies who competed for Gerry's heart during season 1 (spoiler: both Anna Zalk and Joan Vassos caught it 💐). However, after nearly 3 months of marriage, Gerry and Theresa have decided to go separate ways.
