Beyond Paradise fight scene draws big laughs from viewers

Beyond Paradise viewers have given their verdict on a scuffle between Humphrey and Archie in the show's hilarious and heartwarming finale.
The finale saw an emotional climax to the first season, seeing Kris Marshall's Humphrey Goodman wrestle with his future in Shipton Abbot while the team investigated a burglary in the area.
But the standout moment from the episode was actually an awkward fight that took place between the Inspector and Martha's former flame Archie, after Martha made the decision to end her and Humphrey's relationship.
Taking a day off from work, Humphrey had stopped by Martha's cafe in hopes of running into her.

However, it was Archie who he bumped into instead, with the vineyard owner questioning if things were truly over between the pair.
The conversation clearly didn't go as planned because we saw Dylan Llewellyn's PC Kelby Hartford frantically cycling in to break up a fight moments later. To his shock, it was his boss and Archie brawling, due to the normally calm Inspector's temper getting the better of him.
Unlike Kelby, viewers were clearly amused by the new side of Humphrey. One fan called the scuffle the "BEST. FIGHT. SCENE. EVER".
Another viewer was quick to note the similarities between the fight and another classic film scene, writing: "Anyone else thinking Bridget Jones?"

Thankfully, Kelby was able to quickly break the pair up before any real damage was caused (threatening them with pepper spray for good measure) but not before Archie was able to take a bite at the Inspector's hand.
The fight may not have come as a complete surprise to eagle-eyed fans, with Archie actor Jamie Bamber recently teasing that he filmed a fight scene of sorts while chatting to Digital Spy.
