Big Brother host AJ Odudu criticises housemates' treatment of Trish

Big Brother 2023 spoilers follow.

Big Brother host AJ Odudu has criticised the housemates over their treatment of Trish Balusa.

This week has seen Trish feeling increasingly isolated from half of the house as bad feelings linger following last week's backdoor eviction.

Olivia, Tom, Chanelle and Jenkin have been critical of both Trish and Noky for making killer nominations as part of a Halloween twist, though the two ladies had no choice but to take part.

There has been even more tension since Paul and Dylan's double eviction last Friday, when Trish and Noky received huge cheers from the live crowd.

In Tuesday's (November 7) episode, viewers saw Tom tell Chanelle that while he was willing to forgive Trish, he wouldn't forget his mate Paul being called a bully by her in a row last week.

This segment caused controversy on the spin-off show Big Brother: Late & Live when host AJ Odudu and guest Yinka Bokinni both called out the treatment of Trish.

"[Tom's] little chinwag in the garden with Chanelle, the 'I'm gonna forgive but I'm not gonna forget', Trish has already addressed what she said to Paul," Yinka pointed out.

"She addressed it with Paul, she said to [the others] that she's tired of it now. How many times do you sing the same song?"

Late & Live presenter AJ shared her own displeasure with some of the housemates calling Trish "aggressive".

"It is a shame… They do keep banging that drum, don't they? She said 'bully' one time, and how many times have they labelled her 'aggressive'?" AJ said. "I rest my case."

The discussion follows hours after one of Trish's friends confirmed on X (Twitter) that they'd contacted Big Brother's "welfare team" to check how the housemate was being supported.

When a follower suggested Big Brother should address the issue on camera, Trish's friend replied: "I think if they are going to engineer/script certain things they need to also be ready to discuss them honestly. Otherwise what is the point?"
