Big Brother's Noky and Yinrun respond to Trish's absence from the final
Big Brother 2023 spoilers follow.
Big Brother 2023 stars Yinrun and Noky have reacted to former Housemate Trish's absence from the show's final last week.
Jordan Sangha was crowned the winner of the ITV reboot of Big Brother on Friday (November 17), with Olivia Young as runner-up. Behind them were Henry Southan, Yinrun Huang and Noky Simbani.
During the season, Yinrun and Noky grew close with Trish Balusa, who was evicted alongside Chanelle Bowen earlier this season. But Trish wasn't present at the final, having also missed out on a customary Late & Live appearance after a series of offensive posts on X (formerly Twitter) resurfaced.

While speaking to Digital Spy and other media, Yinrun and Noky have responded to Trish's old X/Twitter posts and absence from the Big Brother final.
"Trish contacted me from her side, and she explained a lot of things to me," Yinrun said. "I didn't read too much about her previous tweets, but I saw the apology she posted and ... I think she handled it very maturely."
Noky said she hadn't seen the posts but "wanted to reach out to make sure [Trish] was OK".
She explained: "The world that we live in can be so cruel at times, especially on social media. I've given a lot of grace to people that hurt me during the show, and I want to extend the same grace to her as well because I think she deserves it."
After Trish's eviction, posts containing racist, ableist and homophobic language were found on her old X/Twitter account.
Trish issued an apology statement to a new X/Twitter account, writing in part: "I am aware that some very concerning old tweets of mine have resurfaced, and I would like to sincerely apologise for the harmful stereotypes I perpetuated and the pain I have caused to the marginalised communities and groups of people mentioned."
ITV's spokesperson told Digital Spy at the time: "This weekend we have been made aware of concerning historical tweets. We are currently looking into why they were not identified by the independent supplier we engage to review the digital footprint of potential housemates as part of our pre-checks."
Big Brother will return next year on ITV2 and ITVX. Each episode is followed by Big Brother Late & Live at 10pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
