Big Brother's Zak shares unseen Yinrun scenes from his time in the house

Big Brother star Zak Srakaew has opened up about his time in the house and some of the moments that viewers didn't see.

Speaking exclusively with Digital Spy following his recent eviction from the ITV show, Zak revealed that he had a close bond with fellow housemate Yinrun Huang that went unseen.

"There was a lot of moments when Yinrun cried to me, and there was a lot of moments when I shared my story to Yinrun and she got really upset by it," he began.

"And she shared her story to me – they didn't show none of that."

Zak added that there were also moments where he and Henry Southan "just sat down and had genuine chats together" which didn't make it to screens.

He continued: "I just felt like they should have shown the softer side of me a little bit, because I'm more than just that 'six-foot-model-tough-guy' that everybody thinks I am.

"Deep down, I'm a very spiritual guy. I'm one of those guys you can open up to. Everyone calls me 'uncle' back at home, 'cause everyone comes to me for advice.

"So I just wish they'd shown the softer side of me and the sensitive side a little bit more, rather than this 'alpha male' side."

Zak also spoke about the eviction crowd chants aimed at Kerry Riches, saying it's caused a lot of the housemates to "step back" from her and wonder what the public are seeing that they aren't.

"Why is everyone saying that? Should we be worried? Is she doing something that we're not seeing or hearing?" he said.

Zak went on to say that Kerry is "a lovely woman," though he feels like "she's playing a game".

Big Brother airs Sundays to Fridays at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX. Each episode is followed by Big Brother Late & Live at 10pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
