Biker killed in crash was 'Salford legend' - family
A biker who died when his vehicle hit a central reservation was "a family man" who had "turned his life around" for his twin children, a tribute has said.
Pavè Corkovic, 60, died from his injuries after the crash on Albion Way in Salford on Saturday.
His family paid tribute to him, describing him as "our Salford legend" and saying they and his "many beloved friends" were "so proud" of how far he had come.
A 38-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving has since been released on bail.
Greater Manchester Police said the father-of-three was riding a green Kawasaki bike near another motorcycle when he crashed.
His family said in a statement: "There are no words to express how we feel.
"We as a family are in disbelief and none of us will ever forget him."
"The twins' big brother will make sure they know everything about their dad, especially how he turned his life around and did right by them," it said.
"He loved being a family man and was their protector, provider and a constant presence in their lives."
"We will miss you Pavè and your legacy will live on through your kids," his family said.
Any witnesses or anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage is urged to contact police.
