Bill Bailey pays tribute to 'totally original' Sean Lock ahead of charity walk
Bill Bailey has paid tribute to his late friend the comedian Sean Lock ahead of a 100 mile walk for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Lock, who was best known for his appearances on 8 out of 10 Cats, died last August of lung cancer at the age of 58 and Bailey will now be doing a walk in memory of his friend and colleague.
Appearing on This Morning, Bailey spoke about how Lock was a keen walker: "He loved the outdoors and one of his favourite things was to go on walks. We used to walk for miles. We'd talk about everything, Sean was brilliant company."

He also said that joining him on the walk will be other friends and Lock's family: "I'll be going with Sean's family and his pals that have known him for many years. It's a chance for us to tell stories and remember him."
Bailey, who knew Lock for 30 years, also discussed the late comedian's humour and style: "He was one of those comics that all the other comics turned out to see, he had a totally original and unique style.
"And he was funny offstage as well as on, he was just very genuine and a loyal friend and a great sort of confidante, as well as being a great friend."
The walk will take place over a week and go from Bude in Cornwall to Combe Martin in Devon.
This August it’ll be a year since we lost Sean. So I’m walking 100 miles of the South West Coast Path which Sean loved, with Sean’s family and friends to share stories and to raise funds for @macmillancancer . Any donations hugely appreciated thanks.https://t.co/3fwrt8pSxo
