Billie Lourd Color-Coordinates with Husband Austen Rydell at “Watershed” Premiere in L.A.

The couple, who tied the knot in 2022, share two kids

Billie Lourd is a big supporter of husband Austen Rydell.

The couple hit the red carpet at the premiere for the upcoming documentary Watershed in Los Angeles on July 10 in color-coordinated looks.

Lourd, 31 wore a navy dress with a white floral pattern. White peep-toes and a white Chanel flap bag completed her summery look. Rydell, 32, matched his wife in a navy suit, and crisp white tee and sneakers.

It's not the first time the pair have coordinated looks. Back in March, Lourd and Rydell both wore black to the Vanity Fair Oscar party: she in a lace mini and he in a classic tux. And last December at The Hollywood Reporter's Women in Entertainment gala, his tan suit complemented her off-white dress. Both wore black shoes.

The new documentary, which Rydell executive produced, follows Mallory Weggemann, an American Paralympic medalist paralyzed at 18 as she prepares for the Tokyo Paralympics, as well as Weggemann and her husband Jay Snyder’s IVF journey amid struggles with infertility.

Lourd and Rydell announced their engagement in June 2020 and welcomed the first of their two children three months later. The couple tied the knot at a ceremony in Mexico in March 2022 and had a second child in December 2022.

In a recent interview with PEOPLE, Lourd, whose mother Carrie Fisher portrayed the iconic Princess Leia in the Star Wars franchise and died in 2016, said the films are still a big hit in her household.

“It’s so amazing getting to rewatch all the movies through his eyes,” she said of introducing the movies to her 3-year-old son. “It's something that you can pass down through generations, like my mom did to me and like I'm doing to my kids.”

Lourd was recently joined by Rydell as she accepted Fisher’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

"My mom died six and a half years ago, and ever since, I've fallen deeply in love with Leia and the entire Star Wars universe," the star said in a tribute at the event in May. "I buy every single piece of Leia merch I Leia my eyes on."
