Varanasi (Uttar Pradesh), Sep 18 (ANI): While addressing the ceremony of 'Prabudh Sammelan' in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, Union Textile Minister and BJP leader Smriti Irani said that BJP government saved Rs 2 lakh crore after implementing Direct Beneficiary Transfer. “When the Prime Minister implemented DBT, after that 2 lakh crore rupees were saved in the vault of India. When money was directly given into the beneficiary's account, it was found that there are 8 crore fake beneficiaries in the country,” said Irani.
