Blake Lively’s $19,000 Cut-Out Jeans Are Actually a Floral Denim Masterpiece

With that price tag, they better be.

If there's anyone who can turn denim into a high-fashion statement, it's Blake Lively—not only because of her impeccable fashion sense (need I remind you that she does not have a stylist), but also her experience with jeans as Bridget in her 2005 film, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.

Over the weekend, the fashion aficionado wore some of the most extravagant—and expensive—pairs of jeans that channeled both Bridget and her character Lily Bloom in the upcoming film adaptation of It Ends With Us. On Saturday, Lively attended a surprise screening of the movie, which hits theaters on Aug. 9, in Grapevine, Texas, in a pair of floral cut-out denim with a hefty $19,000 price tag. The Valentino jeans featured an intricate hibiscus-flower design with too many cutouts to count along the front and back of the pant legs. She paired her denim with a simple white tank top and matching indigo Christian Louboutin heels. Accessories included stacked gold bangles, chunky rings, and silver hoops.

Lively styled her signature long blonde hair in voluminous curls—another callback to her character Lily—and opted for a sun-kissed glow and a mauve lip to complete her glam.

The actress was joined by her co-stars Brandon Sklenar (who plays Atlas Corrigan) and Isabela Ferrer (who will play the young version of Lively's role), as well as the bestselling book's author, Colleen Hoover. The foursome adhered to the denim theme, and Lively joked on her Instagram Story that fans finally got a The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants revival.

"Well. You finally got a Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants sequel last night," she captioned her post, before hilariously acknowledging the obvious: "Except one of our sisters is looking extremely male."
