Ever wondered which roads in Singapore are the most hazardous? Or which have the most accidents? We've compiled a list of the top 10 accident-prone roads (not in any particular order) here. Best to avoid these roads when your lucky stars aren't shining.

Top 10 accident-prone roads
1.Bukit Timah Road
2.Lentor Avenue
3. Upper Serangoon Road
4. Thomson Road
5. Upp Thomson Road
6. Orchard Road
7. Scotts Road
8. Braddell Road
9. Clementi Road
10. Yio Chu Kang Road

Also interesting to note, is that 25 percent of accidents happen on expressways, of which the Pan Island Expressway (PIE) claims the most victims (33 percent).

Of these accidents on the PIE, 57 percent of them happen when motorists are travelling towards the direction of Changi Airport. Perhaps this is a good reminder to always plan your time well before a flight to avoid rushing on the road.

Statistics are provided by Aviva Singapore, and are based on reported accidents and claims submissions to Aviva's car insurance.
