Singaporeans slam St Margaret Secondary School's principal for making two students wear wigs after having their heads shaved for a fundraising event called Hair for Hope.

COC defers removal proceedings of City Harvest church leaders

The Commissioner of Charities (COC) on Thursday deferred removal proceedings of eight City Harvest Church (CHC) leaders, six of whom are currently standing trial for alleged criminal breach of trust through misuse of church funds. They have all promised to avoid taking up management and executive roles.

A big fight erupted between two Taiwan political parties in parliament over a vote on a nuclear plant bill. The Democratic Progressive Party opposes allowing nuclear generation due to safety and environmental issues whereas the Kuomintang party believes that doing away with a nuclear facility will lead to insufficient power supply and affect the economy.

The strict rules regarding touching the opposite sex in Korea has boosted the popularity of the hand gesture called “the manner hand”, which is basically hovering your hand over a lady’s shoulder’s or waist. Korean men get respected and praised for doing this.
